The art of quality

The Martini Group is committed to keeping pace with evolutions in food safety and quality, to anticipate changes and seize all opportunities for improvement.

For Martini, quality is an all-round art. The Martini Group was the first in Italy to create a project for the traceability of the supply chain. Martini records and reconstructs the history of each meat package. It guarantees that the animals are born and raised in corporate facilities, controlled by technicians and vets, fed with the livestock feeds produced by Martini and finally slaughtered and processed in the company’s own plants.

This daily commitment aims to ensure consumers know where the food they are eating comes from, and who produced it. For Martini “quality” means understanding the needs of our customers, and satisfying them by offering a safe food product: food derived from a system based on the excellence of the people who work there and on appropriate operating procedures.

The Martini supply chain involves hundreds of people, from the Quality Assurance Department, to each breeder and employee in the testing laboratories, and every front-line professional. Martini feels the necessity to focus on the quality and the safety of the food products sold, while committing to an environmentally sustainable management of the business process.

Pork

For Martini quality is an all-round art. In June 1999, the Martini Group was the first in Italy to implement a project for the traceability of the supply chain that is so accurate that the label of each package bears the name of the farm from which the meat comes.

Chicken

Martini’s chickens have always been raised exclusively in Italy, in the corporate facilities where they are reared cage-free and fed the Martini Group’s own livestock feeds. Even the slaughtering and the subsequent processing is carried out under our surveillance in our plants, where day-to-day checks are carried out in compliance with the regulations set by the Official Veterinary Service, and internal inspections of the Quality Assurance Service performed according to the Martini operational protocols.

Hygiene and Freshness

The hygiene and freshness of the Martini products are constantly guaranteed by respecting every national and community regulation in terms of hygiene and health of the food products.

Martini’s distribution network, with its offices, branches and distribution platforms throughout Italyensures promptness, punctuality and quality of service.

Thus, there is a real advantage for every sales channel (large retail outlets, supermarket chains, wholesale, retail and catering) which can offer customers a product that is always fresh, safe, tasty, easy to cook or ready to cook.
